Another month has come and gone, and April is here. Remember the saying, April showers bring May flowers? Here at SUP, we're pretty sure that saying doesn't work in Southern California. At least we sure hope it doesn't! We hope the SUP community had a nice spring break (minus Coastal, yours will come soon enough). Well, we're happy to announce another Player of the Week, Daniel Rossi, 2nd grader at Temple Heights.
Daniel stood out to us because he brings a fun, brave attitude to the Temple Heights program. As a second grader he's not the biggest kid on the pitch, but he doesn't let that stop him from staying with the ball and keeping up with his older peers.
"Getting to fill in at other schools gives me the opportunity to see how SUP is gelling at all of the schools. Daniel stood out to me because he seemed fearless on the pitch during drills and scrimmages, not shying away from some of SUP's strongest talent. It will be exciting to see how Daniel progresses as a leader and courageous player on the pitch." - Coach Brian
We asked Daniel to answer a few questions, and there's a lot more than just soccer to this personality.
